If someone yells, "Is there a doctor in the house?" at a production of Diablo Light Opera's "West Side Story," boy, will that person be in luck. There are four doctors involved with the production. Dr. Tim Hudson, who plays soda fountain owner Doc, is a retired surgeon. Dr. Sarah Murai, a family medicine practitioner, is one of the Shark girls. Dr. Richard Gracer is a holistic physician who specializes in pain management, and he is on the stage crew. Dr. Jerold Kaplan, a surgeon who specializes in burn and wound care, is also on the crew.
